Introducing our new Aqueous Hot Cup range. Featuring an innovative water-based lining, these Aqueous Hot Cups are AS 5810 certified home compostable and are available with a smooth matte finish in three colours.
What is an Aqueous lining?
An aqueous lining is a water-based dispersion coating used as an alternative to traditional plastic coatings in products like disposable cups. It involves applying plastic or latex particles which are suspended in water onto a material, this application method reduces the amount of plastic used by up to two-thirds compared to typical plastic-lined cups. These coatings are free from harmful chemicals, toxins, and intentionally added PFAS, making them a safer and more environmentally friendly option.
