            International Fried Chicken Day is celebrated on July 6 each year. It's a day when fried chicken lovers come together and enjoy the popular food.
            The history of fried chicken isn't well known, however what is believed to be the first recipe appeared in a British cookbook by Hannah Glasse's in 1747. The recipe has evolved over the years, with several different cultures around the world adapting it to their liking. The first Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) franchise opened in Utah in the United States in 1952.
