A donation of food packaging to help those on the frontline

April 24, 2020

Dubai based food and events platform INKED is providing meals for healthcare workers in a bid to support the fight against the coronavirus.

At the time of writing, the United Arab Emirates has over 6,700 confirmed cases of the virus.

Just last week INKED with the support of their F&B partners were able to donate over 2,000 meals to healthcare workers and people in need in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

In supporting their generous donations to the frontline, we were proud to donate takeaway food packaging.

The items donated by our Detpak Middle East team will support efforts to feed medical professionals as they continue to put their lives on the line to promote the health and safety of all of us.

Usually known for a unique space, fitted out to gather people, stories, and knowledge to create enhanced food experiences, INKED aim to leave a lasting impression on its customers.

But now, with an interruption to their usual service, the creative restaurant space has changed tact, dedicating resources to making meals for healthcare workers and people in need in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

“Our team is ready more than ever to cook their hearts out and make as many meals as we can while taking the necessary measures to prioritize food and staff safety,” INKED said.

“Helping is a never-ending process and we thank those who have reached out to support by donating produce or food packaging,” INKED said.

When we were approached by INKED about a need for takeaway packaging to support their efforts to provide meals to healthcare workers, and were pleased to be able to assist with a packaging donation.

In these unprecendted times, we are proud of the efforts of so many businesses to assist in the fight against COVID-19, and pleased to play our part.
