Seven Miles Coffee support the SurfAid Cup with RecycleMe™
October 24, 2019
RecycleMe™ customer Seven Miles Coffee sponsored the USANA SurfAid Cup in Manly last week, serving up fresh coffees to contestants, spectators and officials in their RecycleMe™ cups.
On Friday 18th October, Manly played host to SurfAid, a worldwide surfing competition to raise funds to help support their Mother and Child Health Programs - bringing clean water and sanitation, basic healthcare and improved nutrition to remote areas with some of the highest mortality rates in the world.
Seven Miles has been roasting coffee on the Northern Beaches of Sydney for 50 years. “Some of our coffees are is grown in the most remote communities in the world, so we are aware of just how challenging some of these communities living conditions can be,” explains Seven Miles Head of Marketing, Simone Ruskin.
“We proudly support SurfAid, giving back to the remote communities where surfers love to visit,” Simone said.
“At the competition in Manly last week, we used our Seven Miles Kombi to supply surfers with the energy boost they needed to get through the heats.”
The team at Seven Miles used RecycleMe™ cups and collection to serve their renowned coffee, sustainably!
Detpak are pleased to support our customers with sustainable solutions for use at events - large and small.
Update May 2024: Please note that Detpak no longer manufactures RecycleMe cups. However, you can still view the RecycleMe range here.
