What are burger clams used for?
Burger clams are pre-formed clamshell containers sized to hold a single burger, often with room for a small side. The hinged lid keeps the burger warm and intact in transit, while the coated board stops grease bleeding through. They suit burger joints, food trucks, pubs and caterers serving hot bun-based meals.
Are Detpak takeaway food trays and burger clams grease-resistant?
Yes. Both are made from single-side coated board with built-in grease resistance, so chips, schnitzels, burgers and other oily foods stay contained. Breathe holes on selected styles release steam to stop crispy items going soggy.
